The IPL is one of the most watched tournaments in cricket. The broadcast of the IPL goes to almost 200 countries. The global broadcast rights are held by Sony Entertainment Television network and Singapore’s World Sport Group. They then sold these rights to other companies based on their locations.

IPL’s online broadcast rights are held by Times Internet who decided to share the rights with Star India instead of Youtube. So the IPL 7 will be streamed online on starsports.com.
